Cheese's

In my Principles of Visual Design class, our final project was a group project in which we were tasked to design a brand/corporation identity system accompanied by traditional style guides.

As a group, we decided that it would be fun to rebrand a company that played a core role in our childhoods. That company is, Chuck E. Cheese! As a result, we thought it would be cool to bring a sense of nostalgia to adult entertainment by creating Cheese’s, a casino and resort. The project consisted of us establishing our brand, mission statement, an event hosted by our brand, a billboard, merchandise, a website mockup, and a business card. It was a really fun project that my group really enjoyed collaborating on.

Life's Too Short

My final project for my Video Production class combined concepts of a montage, telling a story, and making a music video all in one.

It tells the story of a college student pursuing art beyond just a means of emotional distress. She is seen pursuing her creativity regardless of what her mom or others expect of her because, in the end, life is too short to take too seriously. Overall, the purpose of this project is to capture creativity and convey the message to pursue your passions and live life to its fullest.

Jordle

In my Object Oriented Programming class, we were tasked with creating a GUI application using UI various controls, layout management, and UI event handling using JavaFX.

As a result, I made “Jordle” which encapsulates Wordle but is java themed. This project encompasses all aspects of abstraction, encapsulation, inheritance, and polymorphism along with the ideas of general UI design to create this game.

AccessCorps

During the fall semester of 2022, I had the privilege of becoming a member of the newly established Vertically Integrated Project known as AccessCORPS. This opportunity has proven to be an incredibly humbling journey. AccessCORPS was formed with the purpose of cultivating an all-encompassing campus environment centered around accessibility. Regrettably, Georgia Tech, along with numerous other universities, currently falls short in adequately addressing and accommodating accessibility needs—a predicament of greater magnitude than commonly perceived.

The majority of that semester was dedicated to our own proficiency enhancement in the realm of accessibility, while simultaneously laying the groundwork for this VIP initiative. In the subsequent spring of 2023, we initiated our first research project aimed at assessing the interest of professors throughout the campus in granting us the permission to evaluate and enhance the accessibility aspects of their courses. Following summer break, we seamlessly resumed our endeavors right where we left off, experiencing remarkable growth as a cohesive team.

Our aspirations are not confined solely to the confines of Georgia Tech's campus; rather, we aspire to catalyze substantial changes across the entirety of the University System of Georgia.
